One of the few regrets that still lingers in the back of my head was having the opportunity to book White Stripes at the time of their second album for a very, very low price, and not being able to seal the deal. I don’t have an exact figure, but when the band finally did come to town 5 or 6 years later, they were paid exponentially more. Truth is, the records they were making at that point in their career were nowhere near as good as the stuff they did in the beginning. Just goes to show you… don’t pass on a good thing. This a great Son House cover they did back then.
