New Release: CROSS DOG – Hollow

THIS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU CHECK YOU EMAIL!! COOL BAND!!
Dan! Greetings from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada!
My name is Mark, and below you will find a press release / bandcamp & Spotify links for Cross Dog’s new record (Uncle D Records, July 19). The band is looking for reviews of the album before touring in the fall. The band is bass driven, heavy, and feminist, and the new record was recorded by Calvin Hartwick (METZ, July Talk), mixed by Greg Dawson (Moneen, Cunter), and mastered by Alan Douches (Converge, Every Time I Die, Dillinger Escape Plan, etc)
On “HOLLOW” Cross Dog are at their heaviest. This noisy, loud, and
angry full length has the band staying true to their lineup of bass,
drums, and vocals, but introduces a variety of unique soundscapes and
the use of distorted modular synthesizer. The lyrical content is just
as heavy as the music, both politically and personally. The feminist
lyrics provide a critique of white supremacy, partisan politics,
religious oppression, and demonstrate vulnerability on the topic of
sexual violence. Limited to 250 on Clear Vinyl.
Released July 2019.
Enjoy the record and let me know if you would like anything else from the band.
Cheers.
